From one week into a relationship into the fast-growing food franchise taking over Australia

Can you imagine starting a business with little to no business experience with your partner just one week into your relationship?! That's exactly what one of our Accelerate Members at The Entourage did in 2018. Business and life partners, Jess Davis, a former model, and Tyson Hoffmann, ex-professional basketball player, co-founded Mr Potato, a healthy fast food chain in Adelaide and since then, they've built it into a $5 million empire that's fast-tracking it across Australia, and eventually, the world.

This 'Making It Happen with Members' bonus episode for Season 3 of The Make It Happen Show is where we feature a spotlight onto some of the incredible business journeys of our Members at The Entourage. Sharing exactly how they've made it happen with our help, you'll get to hear from business owners who've been through the same challenges you have, how they've navigated through those challenges to success, and how you can make it happen too.

Hear how this couple was able to make it work in business just one week into the relationship, going from working 100 hours a week to now aiming to get to 200 franchises up in 3 years. A raw and authentic look into business owners just like you, this is not one to miss. Check it out.

Headshot of Jess Davis and Tyson Hoffmann on The Make It Happen Show

"It's been really important for us to know what our roles are and to not switch lanes, try to take over from the other person. It's been amazing because we get to work on our own strength."

Entourage on point again!

Great content again from The Entourage! Particularly like the 1st episode and the points Tim Fung made about making sure you make time to map out the future and don't get stuck on day to day 'work', as well as the observation that you really need to be strategic about your people management and not just try to save money. Two awesome take homes I have already taken action on!

Well this was one of the best things I’ve heard in a while. I’m by no means the target demographic, having zero business or entrepreneurial experience at all. Luckily the advice given for business growth and success is remarkably applicable to personal growth and success. Loved the conversational style, by the end of the podcast I felt like I knew both Tims personally, which is a great mark of engagement. And I loved hearing about the humble beginnings of Airtasker from the founder himself. Give this a listen if you’re craving a bit of personal or professional inspiration.
