From stagnant to record-breaking growth

Prior to joining The Entourage, Adam Monteith’s physiotherapy business, Evoker, was doing well. They had one location in Sydney’s CBD, but Adam knew that the business had the potential to grow even more. Not satisfied with Evoker’s growth rate, Adam turned to The Entourage and joined the Accelerate program to take Evoker to the next level.

Adam joins The Entourage

The Entourage's Accelerate Program helped Adam build out a sales and teaching model for his team, to empower them to deliver a consistent experience for clients without Adam’s presence.

Adam had an idea of what Evoker represented as a business, but couldn’t turn it into a tangible culture his team could get behind. With the help of his advisors in the Accelerate Program, Adam was able to crystallise Evoker’s vision, mission, values into a concrete philosophy that his entire team understood and embraced. This enabled Adam to give better feedback and guidance to his team, and get the team involved and active in Evoker’s long term vision.

Above all, the Accelerate Program helped Adam “become comfortable with being uncomfortable.” Adam knew that Evoker’s growth had stagnated, and that he personally had become too comfortable with how the business was progressing. Adam's business coach gave him the ability to take the business into unknown territory with a sense of direction and confidence. 

I’m trained as a physio, but no one had taught me business. It’s a skill, and you need to learn it, like anything else.

Evoker expands

Within the first 9 months of joining The Entourage, Adam opened his second physiotherapy space in Sydney’s coveted Martin Place, doubled his team, and reached a new $1 million revenue milestone. The rapid growth that Evoker underwent is a testament to the impact the Accelerate program can have on a business, particularly those struggling to move out of a slow growth phase. Adam was able to take the tools learnt from The Entourage to implement the systems and models required to drive the Marketing and Sales functions of his business, define the company culture and establish the vision, mission and values that empower his staff and clients.
